Its always hard to get people to make donations to your forum, so the people that do make a donation should be rewarded. This is a list a few ideas I have used in the past that worked in one way or another. Most of the items listed can be done for free or with minor changes to your forum.
- Different font for username
- Access to private forums
- Special forum signature rules. Give them 5 lines instead of the 3 lines that the general public gets
- Remove ads
- Give them recognition on your forum supporters page
- Access to more emoticons
- Ability to change username
- Recognition in your Newsletter
- Custom Avatar title
- Upload Avatar image
- Custom Avatar message
- "I Donated" Avatar badge
- Remote link for Avatar image
- Custom fields in members profile
- Gifts like shirts, cups, etc.
- Link on your forums main page
- Access to live chat
