Its amazing how much traffic you can get from RSS feeds of your forum. A friend of mine turned on RSS feeds and started getting 5-10 visitors a day after about a month. I think that's pretty good.

Submitting your link to RSS link directories also helps generate some RSS traffic. Here is a link to a pretty good list.
