I primarily use Google first to begin a search, but I'm sure there are other search engines that people use as well. I'm looking to expand my search references so other than Google, Yahoo, and MSN what other sites to you use to perform your searches? Are there any sites that are good for specialized searches?
Thanks for the tip. While I've heard of dogpile I never seem to think of it when I'm searching things. Like I mentioned, my first instinct is to use Google, but I will add dogpile to my favorites.
I mainly use Metacrawler, Dogpile, and Google. Metacrawler is set as my homepage since I usually am ready to search for something once I get in front of my laptop.
I never used Metacrawler, but I'm going have to give it a try. I think Google is great, but using other search engines are always good especially when your searching for some real specific information.
